Brian Dantzig
Division Vice President

Brian graduated from St. Mary’s College, Moraga, CA with a BA in Liberal Arts. He began his insurance career with a National Insurance Brokerage Firm where he excelled in selling and creating group programs for many different industries.

Brian brings to the Heffernan Insurance Brokers innovative ideas, insurance expertise and enthusiasm. He is responsible for handling multi-line risks and provides risk management services to meet the clients’ needs. His responsibilities include review and analysis of benchmark exposures, customer review, market understanding, account management, loss control, claims management and service personnel activities.

Kerry Dantzig
Vice President – Non-Profit Division
Walnut Creek, CA

Kerry joined the Heffernan Group directly out of college. She began her insurance career as an account manager in our small business unit where she learned the ins and outs of the insurance industry. In 1995 she moved to Heffernan Group’s non-profit department, handling the church accounts while producing new church clientele.

Kerry currently specializes in growth of the group various church programs. She sells several regional and national comprehensive insurance programs. In addition to her sales responsibilities, Kerry assists in the managing of the non-profit division. She produces quarterly risk management newsletters and conducts risk management seminars to Heffernan Group’s non-profit clients.

Kerry was born in New York and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at California State University, Chico. She enjoys working with her brother, Brian Dantzig and her father, Ed Dantzig. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, the outdoors, sports and spending time with family and friends.

Susan Wilson
Program Manager
Walnut Creek, CA

Susan offers over 25 years of insurance industry experience and expertise. Along with account servicing and delivering personal care and attention to her clients, Susan also manages a commercial lines division.

With her attention to detail, Susan established personnel procedures and organized the department workflow. Her experience and technical knowledge leads the Heffernan Non-Profit Unit in the direction needed to provide excellent customer service.

LuAnn Watkins
Account Manager

LuAnn has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry. LuAnn has been with Heffernan Group for over 8 years as an account manager working with clients in the Lutheran Program and Workers' Compensation Program.

Gina Haselroth

Gina has been in the insurance industry for over four years. Gina specializes in providing client management services to large church programs. She is knowledgeable and anticipates specific clients needs and delivers the best service.

Michelle Race

Michelle has been with Heffernan Group for over four years, working on various religious and non-profit accounts. She brings new ideas and enthusiasm as an Account Manager on large religious programs, handling their workers' compensation, property and casualty.

Carolynn Bonner

Carolynn has over 15 years experience in the insurance industry. Carolynn brings both property and liability claims experience. As an Account Manager for our large church programs she utilizes her strong interpersonal skills to effectively assist clients with their insurance needs.

Sharon has been in the insurance industry for over three years. She manages a miscellaneous religious book of business along with providing support on the large church programs.
